Privacy
Short version: your cities stay on your device, there are no cookies, and we only see aggregated page-view statistics.
What the site uses
To show your local time and highlight your time zone, the site reads your device’s time zone setting (for example “Europe/Stockholm”) through your browser. This happens on your device and is not sent to us. We do not ask for or use your location.
To make “fill in, save, print” work, the cities you add, the base city and your 12 or 24-hour choice are saved in your browser’s local storage on this device (under the name tzm.v1). They are never sent to us and we cannot see them. Delete them with “Reset cities” or by clearing your browser’s data for this site.
A share link contains only what you put in it: the city names, their time zones and the date and time. Anyone you send it to can read those details.
Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
To see how many people use the site and which pages they visit, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not set cookies, does not use your browser storage or fingerprinting, and does not identify or follow individual visitors. We only see aggregated numbers such as page views per page, referring sites, countries and device types. A small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com reports each page view to Cloudflare. Your cities and plans are not included.
Cookies, advertising and links
The site currently sets no cookies and shows no ads. We may add advertising (for example Google AdSense) in the future to keep the site free. If we do, we will update this page before it goes live and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against attacks. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
